Mozilla 1.x and derivative browsers Java^TM^ Web Start Configuration Instructions

The following describe how to configure browsers based upon Mozilla 1.x to support Java^TM^ Web Start technology.

Select the Edit/Preferences menu item.  Then select the Navigator/Helper Applications category as shown below.

Select the New Type button and enter the file extension and MIME type as shown below.

Select Handled By Application and select the Choose button.  Choose the javaws application in the javaws directory where it was installed.
