The CDF V2.4 software distribution for VMS/OpenVMS systems is available
via anonymous FTP and NSI/DECnet.

  Anonymous FTP:

     ANONYMOUS account on NSSDCA.GSFC.NASA.GOV (128.183.36.23)
     in [.CDF.DIST.CDF24].  The files you need are README.VMS and
     CDF24-DIST.BCK.

  NSI/DECnet:

      NSSDCA::ANON_DIR:[CDF.DIST.CDF24]CDF24-DIST.BCK
      NSSDCA::ANON_DIR:[CDF.DIST.CDF24]README.VMS

The VMS/OpenVMS software distribution (CDF24-DIST.BCK) is stored using
the BACKUP utility and must be copied from our VAX directly to your VAX.
Coping this file to an intermediate non-VMS machine will lose the VMS
record structure information needed to restore the source code on your
machine.
