idl               Directory holding the patch for IDL 8.5 and older to CDF.

idl86             Directory holding the patch for IDL 8.6 to CDF.

linux             Directory holding the source code, release and change notes
                  for the CDF version for Linux system. It also has the Java
                  and Perl interface packages.

macosx            Directory holding the universal binary packages of the CDF
                  for Mac OS X.

matlab            Directory holding the patches for MATLAB-CDF modules.

unix              Holding files for unix-based system, a soft-link to linux
                  directory.

vms               Pre-build binary package is no longer available for Open-VMS.
                  Users have to build the library/tools from the source.

windows           Directory holding the binary builds of the CDF for windows.
