This is the online CDF software distribution directory.  This directory
contains the following major files/directories that are still accessible...

     obsolete/     The previous CDF distribution versions that are not
                   maintained.

     cdf36_4/      The previous V3.6.4 version.

     cdf37_1/      The previous V3.7.1 version

     cdf38_0/      The previous V3.8.0 version

     cdf38_1/      The current CDF software distribution release.

     CDF_copyright.txt  The CDF copyright statement. 

     makecdf &     Makecdf tool's source and binary.
     makecdf_home

     CDFLeapSeconds2.txt   The latest leap second table.

     CDFLeapSeconds.txt    The leap second description. 

     checkleapseconds.bat &  The script to check whether you have the latest
     checkleapseconds.sh     leap second table.

     latest-release     The latest CDF release which is V3.8.1.

     user-supplied-sw   User-supplied software that handles CDF files.

Other directories are for file holding stages.
