ISEE3 data files Each file contains the data for one day. The files are in Ascii, formatted as comma separated values. Each line contains one record. Lines are terminated by a line-feed character. File names include the date formatted as YYYYMMDD where YYYY is the month, MM is the month number, and DD is the day-of-month number. All files are compressed using gzip and hence have a suffix of ".gz". 108 sec files - name: iaYYYYMMDD.txt.gz Column Type Contents -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 I Record number. 2 I Data date as YYDOY where YY is last two digits of year and DOY is day-of-year (Jan 1 = 1). 3 I Date time of day in milliseconds. 4 I Instrument mode. 5-7 I XYZ coordinates of spacecraft in geocentric solar ecliptic coordinates (meters). 8 I Z dipole configuration. 9-20 F For each frequency channel: for modes 1 and 2: the SB average, for mode 3: the SN average. 21-32 F For each frequency channel: for mode 1: SN average, for other modes: 0 33-44 F For each frequency channel: For modes 1 and 2, the SB RMS value, For mode 3, the SN RMS value. 45-56 F For each frequency channel: For mode 1, the SN RMS value, For other modes: 0. 57-68 F For each frequency channel: for modes 1 and 2: the ZB average, for mode 3: the ZN average. 69-80 F For each frequency channel: for mode 1: ZN average, for other modes: 0 81-92 F For each frequency channel: For modes 1 and 2, the ZB RMS value, For mode 3, the ZN RMS value. 93-104 F For each frequency channel: For mode 1, the ZN RMS value, For other modes: 0. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.5 sec modulated data files - name: imYYYYMMDD.txt.gz Column Type Contents -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 I Record number. 2 I Data date as YYDOY where YY is last two digits of year and DOY is day-of-year (Jan 1 = 1). 3 I Date time of day in milliseconds. 4 I Frequency channel (1-12) of this record. 5 I Step number (1-72). 6 I Status. 7 I First phase. 8 I Second phase. 9 I Number of non-fill S samples. 10 I Record quality. 11 I Instrument mode. 12 I Always 0. 13-20 I Status words. 21-44 F Calibrated S and Z samples as log TA.
