Data description (including how measurements were made):

COTS-2 data have been organized in files by trimester (e.g. DSX-SET-COTS2-Data_Report_Year_Month1_Month2_Month3.csv). These files summarize all data packages received since the DSX launch in function of each instant. The same files include COTS-2 board's voltage variation, dosimeter, and temperature data. Furthermore, another file (DSX-SET-COTS2-Data_Report_Summary_PING_RESULT.csv) contains only COTS-2 data related to the minutes at which COTS-2 board sent either a "PING" (COTS-2 board restart) or a "RESULT" (TMR scheme has failed according to the explanation below). The csv files show for each minute only COTS-2 data related, in priority, to "RESULT" (if "PING" or "STATUS" happen within the same minute as each COTS-2 response may happen in few seconds), only "PING" (if no "RESULT"), or "STATUS" (if neither "RESULT" nor "PING").

If COTS-2 board was either off or not queried (COTS-2 board not sending "PING"/"STATUS"/"RESULT"), the MONTH_DAY_YEAR_TIME column in csv files indicate "NO_DATA". When a COTS2 board sent a "RESULT" to the ground stations, this means the TMR scheme has failed. Actually, the triple modular redundancy (TMR) scheme (protecting the case-study digital system embedded in the COTS-2 board's FPGA) failed, i.e. the case-study digital system (a set of crypto-processors in series, triplicated and with a voter) was not able to properly calculate, providing wrong output results even protected by a TMR scheme.
