Format for ASCII version of Explorer 35 81.92s-averaged magnetic field data set. This data set was created at GSFC/SPDF in 2010. Nand Lal did the initial conversion of NSSDC data set SPHE-00615 (67-070A-04B) from IBM/7094 binary to ASCII, and then Joe King and Natalia Papitashvili created the final version. The original data set, from the NASA/GSFC magnetometer (N.F. Ness, PI), has both 5.12s values and averages of these values taken over spacecraft "sequences" of 81.92s duration. The 5.12s data are presently (July, 2010) in NSSDC's offline archive For magnetic field data, only precisions limited to instrumental uncertainties were retained in the final version described herein (i.e., 0.01 nT). Data words have been resequenced to carry time tags, field data in geophysical coordinates, spacecraft position data in GSE, GSM, and SSE coordinates, and finally all other data from original records. Decimal days (wherein 12N, UT, on Jan. 1 is 0.5) have been replaced by Day-of-year (wherein Jan. 1 is 1), and fractional minutes have been replaced by integer minutes and seconds. Formats given below include spaces between words. Components are given in units of lunar radii. RA&Dec means right ascension and declination. J1950 is used. F Ratio is {(RMS standard deviation in sequence-averaged field magnitude)/(sequence averaged field magnitude)}*100. C Ratio is {[RMS(BxSE) + RMS(BySE) + RMS(BzSE)]/ [SQRT(**2 + **2 + **2)]}* 100/3. Data quality flags relate to spacecraft clock readings. A value of zero is best. Experiment flags capture: the sensor flip state; whether normal, flipping, or calibrating; and the sensitivity level (+/-24 nT or ±64 nT) ____________________________________________________________
