Hourly Averaged Fluxes of Protons Data

NSSDC ID: SPHE-00501

Availability: At NSSDC, Ready for Offline Distribution (or Staging if Digital)

Time span: 1976-01-18 to 1980-03-07

Description

These hourly averaged proton flux data are on binary magnetic tape created on an IBM 360 computer. The variable length data records each contain about 5 days worth of data. Each contains a count of the number of hourly intervals in the record; number of physical quantities in the record (3); six 132-character lines identifying the physical quantities (fluxes) contained in the record; time in year, month, day of month, h, min and s; values of proton fluxes in energy bins from 3.3 to 21.6 MeV, 21.6 to 57.0 MeV, and above 57.0 MeV; and statistical errors associated with the fluxes.
