This Galileo update file has been extracted from the old aaupdate.doc file at the VMS anonymous FTP site for all COHO-related datasets. Directory names for current Galileo data sets have been changed for new locations at this new site. Note that all directory and file names at this site are actually in lower case, even though they are given below in upper case. 2/24/99 JFC BULLETIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Galileo makes its second Earth flyby today at a closest approach of 300 km. It will fly by asteroid Astra in August 1993 and arrive at Jupiter on Dec. 7, 1995. No changes yet on the high-gain antenna deployment. For completeness it should also be noted that asteroid Toutatis 4179P (diameter=3.5 km) passes by at 3.6 million km from the Earth today. Many new datasets have been recently loaded into COHO. These include heliocentric coordinates from the [ACTIVE.HELIO]HELICOOR and PLANET programs for Galileo/Cruise & Jupiter, ICE, IMP-8/Earth, PVO/Venus, Ulysses, and Voyager 1/2. J. F.
