0.5 Second S/C X + Z Component Magnetic Field

NSSDC ID: SPMS-00313

Availability: Exclusively CDAW Proprietary Data - Contact Agent for More Information

Time span: 1977-07-29 to 1977-07-29

Description

These experimenter-supplied, half-second interval magnetic field data are on one EBCDIC magnetic tape created on an IBM 360/91 computer. The first file on the tape contains time in year, day of year, hour of day, minute of day, and second of hour; and the magnetic field components along the spacecraft X and Z axes (nT). The time interval between points on this file is 0.5 seconds. File 3 is the same as file 1 but with a time interval of 5.0 seconds. File 2 contains the same information as these files plus radial distance (km), latitude and longitude (deg), and the X- and Z-component high frequency power. The time interval for file 2 is 64 seconds. This data set was submitted as input for a Coordinated Data Analysis Workshop.
