Create Skeleton Table

These skeleton tables are designed using the ISTP/IACG Guidelines which (1) define how to structure data in CDF and what descriptions (attributes) to include. After understanding this, the best way to proceed is to (2) use an example instrument-specific skeleton table and (3) edit it to include your specific variables and instrument description. (4) To check adherence to the ISTP/IACG Guidelines use the SKTEditor program.

For users without a graphical interface, select from the following list:

Step 1: Determine how to structure data in a CDF (variable dimensionality, dependencies) and what additional attributes are needed (from standard list).
Step 2: Use an example instrument-specific skeleton table as a starting point for editing.
Step 3: Add/Delete/Change variables using an ASCII editor or SKTeditor.
